The World Evangelical Alliance, jointly with Caritas Internationalis, called on all parties in Central African Republic to respect the ceasefire, for dialogue between the government and the armed groups, and the implementation of a disarmament, demobilization and reintegration process with a view to the return of the exercise of sovereign powers by the State and respect for the rule of law throughout the Central African Republic. The statement was made at the Human Rights Council 50th session, during the Interactive Dialogue with the Independent Expert on the situation of human rights in the CAR, on 6 July 2022.
