On 9 March 2021, during the the 46th session of the Human Rights Council, the World Evangelical Alliance, Caritas Internationalis, the World Council of Churches, and other Christian organizations, made the following statement on unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, that are seriously hampering the ability of NGOs and Church-based organisations to deliver essential aid and to contribute to a just recovery.
