On 14 August 2020, the World Evangelical Alliance reported to the Human Rights Committee on the situation of freedom of religion or belief, freedom of expression and the right to peaceful assembly in the Maldives, ahead of the consideration of the List of Issues Prior Reporting for the Maldives during the Committee’s 130th session in October 2020.
