The WEA, jointly with Eglise protestante d’Algérie (EPA), the International Institute for Religious Freedom (IIRF) and Aide aux Eglises dans le monde (AEM), submitted a report on religious freedom issues in Algeria, to the 27th session of the UPR. The topics concerned were the closure of churches, administrative discrimination suffered by Protestants, and the prohibition of marriages with non-Muslim foreigners.
