During the Human Rights Council 46th Session, the adoption of Malawi’s report by the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group was an opportunity for the WEA to welcome the anti-trafficking efforts and commitments by Malawi’s government. WEA underscored the importance of continued efforts to counter human trafficking, as had been mentioned in our pre-session briefing ahead of the 36th session of the Malawi’s UPR.
