On 8 April 2026, the World Evangelical Alliance, in collaboration with the World Freedom Network and the Asia Freedom Network, submitted a report to the Human Rights Council ahead of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Thailand scheduled for November 2026 during the UPR 53rd session.
Our submission reported on issues of human trafficking and exploitation in Thailand, particularly with regard to forced labour, sexual exploitation, child exploitation, and increasingly, forced criminality linked to cyber-enabled operations.
