On 11 October 2023, the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) submitted a report to the Human Rights Council ahead of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Yemen scheduled for 1 May 2024 during the UPR 46th session. Our submission reported on the situation of freedom of religion or belief in Yemen, addressing cases of religiously driven abuse, physical and psychological torture, and even fatalities among Yemeni Christians.
