On 10 March 2023, the World Council of Churches (WCC), ACT Alliance, Caritas Internationalis (CI), and World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) published a research that provides systematic overview of the challenges sanctions pose to the humanitarian work of churches, and explores pathways for addressing these challenges.
This research, written in course of 2022, was the fruit of collaboration between the Geneva Graduate Institute and WCC, WEA, CI and ACT Alliance. The researchers were Paul Hausmann, Elodie Pearson and Maja Liechti, students of the Graduate Institute.
