Sri Lanka: Freedom of Religion and Belief – Written statement submitted to the 30th session of the Human Rights Council

In a written statement concerning the situation of human rights in Sri Lanka, submitted to the Human Rights Council’s annual report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and reports of the Office of the High Commissioner and the Secretary-General, the World Evangelical Alliance focuses in particular on the freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) and also, specifically, on the importance of carrying out an independent and credible international investigation on issues of accountability during the final stages of the internal armed conflict that ended in 2009.
