At the 46th session of the Human Rights Council, during the Interactive Dialogue with Commission of Inquiry on Syrian Arab Republic, the World Evangelical Alliance made a statement calling all parties involved in the Syrian conflict for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and putting an end to human rights and humanitarian law violations. We reiterated our appeal for the removal of sanctions that prevent the Syrian population from accessing basic needs and services, and urged to provide humanitarian assistance for rebuilding basic infrastructure and creating economic opportunities for Syrian population.
